Dislikes
- Timings of college. Start time is too early.
- Also end time. Students get too exhausted to start any new internship or extra curricular activities.
- Term exams are removed and project submissions were mandatory which made life stressful as the professors keep on pressuring students to bring Novelty to the project in limited time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science course is one the leading courses back then when I wanted to choose a career, the coding along with creative design and architecture of computer attracted me the most. Faculty is alright but quality of teaching has to be improved. Teaching method are mostly reading PPT and not explaining enough. Term exams was stressful but internals were mostly important for passing a subject.
Placement Experience
For 7th semester students are available for placements. Oracle, Amazon, Adobe, Google, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, microsoft and many more. Offers are made according to the interview process and results. Highest is 50,00,000 per Anum and AVG is 6,00,000 per Anum. Maximum all the students get placed by the end of 4th year. I am planning to go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of college is high in my opinion as quality of study is not as expected. Didn't receive any scholarship, financial assistance. Didn't got the job yet. Might sit for the placements in coming June or July.
Campus Life
There are no anual fest in the college. Tech fest is going to happen for once a year. Time and month is variable. Availability of books and journals is good. Although the Library is not in good maintenance, it is pretty good for the books. There is no club run by students, all the clubs are run by one of the professors. Cricket, handball, football, basketball are the sports in our college. Along with Flashmob, singing competitions are all present. But the upsetting part is that the college ends at 3:40. Its too exhausting.
Hostel Facilities
1 fan, 2 lights, 2 cupboards for 4 members. Hot water only for 2 hours in morning and evening. Meals are good. Separate application process for hostel which is done through online payment. No room or PG taken.
Admission
There had to be atleast above 65% of marks of your 12th grade and there must not be any exam pending. A website with registration link for the entrance exam has been provided for all those who want to apply for the college. The next step after registration takes you to fee and then gives the exam tickets after completing the transaction. Yes, admission to the college could be more smoother.
