Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of its reputation and good average placements offered. In every class there are avouch 50 students for 1 teacher. Most of the faculty is young and has recently completed their masters but some few teachers are experienced and have completed their Ph.D. Most of the teachers don't teach well but a few teaches well with real life examples and conceptual base. the term exams are held semester wise and have fixed dates and one need to study and be regular in classes to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
various top companies like the Godrej Economic times and Snapdeal offered the roles of management, content writing, business development etc. The average stipend offered was 15000rs. 2 students were hired by whitehat junior co. to write creative content related to different topics and they excelled in the task and the company offered them pre employment packages.
Placement Experience
From semester 3 the students becomes eligible for applying for campus placements. Various companies visited the college like Delloite, EY etc. and a total of about 250 offers were made. The average package offered was around 3 lakh oer annum. for the top roles average package was 6 lakh per annum and the highest placement went about 20 lakh per annum. Only about 60% of students got olaces in campus placement. My plans after getting the degree is to give CAT and complete my MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike policy is as per the requirements of University. Since the university is centrally funded the fees is very low ranging between 14000-18000rs. for most of the courses. The scholarships are provided to students on economic basis, only economically weak students are granted scholarships of upto 90%.
Campus Life
The Chem Carnival was the last annual fest of the college and it was grand as the college area itself is very big and the fest are conducted mostly in January. The library is well stocked and have a lot of resources and is pretty big. there are almost no amnesties in the classroom except the basic ones like chair table fans tubelight etc. The college have volleyballs, football, cricket, kabaddi and basketball ground and have a lot of indoor sports. There are various clubs and societies in the college like the entrepreneurship, Enactus placement cell etc. these societies are run by students for students.
Admission
The eligibility criteria was 12th passed and should have appeared in CUET. The application form and fees and other dates can be found by official website of du. I am a regular candidate. The improvement I want to see in admission process is that they should improve the freeze and seat allocation system.
