Course Curriculum Overview
Currently, many multinational companies are investing in semiconductors and Electronics base is semiconductors. The very high scope is there in core electronics. Even though the starting salary is less than CS, IT, the growth in EXTC is tremendous.
Internships Opportunities
The internship provided by the college was in a Machine learning project. Also in core electronics, there was an internship in PCB designing, how to build designs using Rasberry Pi and micro-controllers.
Placement Experience
The percentage of students getting placed is quite remarkable. More the 80 % of students get placed annually. Especially the textile and Instrumentation branch. After the degree, I am preparing for the GATE for my higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees are very affordable compared to other Government Colleges. One can get a scholarship through MahaDBT. At the beginning of the final year, the placement drives start and companies come to take campus Hiring.
Campus Life
Annually there are 3 events conducted, one is Zenith which is a sports event. Second is a Utsav and a tech fest named Pragya. There are a lot of technical and artistic clubs that one can join and improve their social and other skills.
Admission
In order to gain Admission in SGGSIE&T, you have to get a score higher than the cutoff for the particular Branch in the MHT-CET Entrance Exam. One should have completed their 12th in PCM or PCMB domain. You can apply for the Exam from the official website of MHT-CET.
