Course Curriculum Overview

My course is cse core department and I love to do it. VFX and GRAPHICS work and this course will improve my things so I took CSE. The ratio of faculty: to students is like 1:5. The qualification of the faculty is must be a Ph.D. and the teaching method is max of the lecturers use ppt and they will present it and they will teach. And there will be 2mid terms one is closed book and another one is open book. The final sem is a closed book and the paper will be tough when compared to other colleges.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Like LinkedIn Microsoft amazon Deloitte Capgemini tcs and many more, these companies will offer internships with stipends. There will be mini projects based on the sem and course and based on your lecturer. And there will be a capstone project.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee hike on campus when you take an admission campus they will give a bond paper like you took this course in this category so your fees for 4 years is what they will give a bond paper. There are no scholarships. But we can do an intern from the campus with more stipend you can get like 25k to 2lakhs.

Campus Life

There will be techno vit events every year and there will vibrance fest every year for 3 days there will be a celebrities show for 3 days. The classroom is like good benches there will be no AC in the classroom room but in the labs, there will be AC. The sports club will conduct more sports and max to max there will be every month sports will be conducted. There are many groups and clubs it's like technical and non-technical you have to for credits and nss, ncc also there and there is a website called vtop which is student-run by students.

Admission

There will be an exam you can apply through the vit portal and the eligibility is based on your rank. There are no reservations and the fees are based on the counselling. The improvement we want in the admission process is at last they can try to show how many seats are not filled in the courses then by seeing it students can opt for that course for the fee. When the entrance exam is written within in 1month your results will be out it will come to your mail given in the application form. After getting the rank you have to attend counselling and the counselling fee will be 5to7k. While attending your counselling you have to check your input money. There will be five categories and there will be an increase of 1 to 2lakhs for every category.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
