Introduction to GHRCE from the side of a student

I was interested in the construction industry as it was so amazing to creat the miracles in the form of buildings, bridges, roads, etc.Civil engineering is the platform for the creation of beautiful infrastructure with high facilities of living. The faculty of college is amazing and highly talented with very approachable nature.Every faculty is helpful to students so the faculty student ratio depends upon the need of students and it change with department to department in our college. As mentioned before the faculty is very talented and highly educated, Teachers with the doctorate degree are appointed to guide the students.The specialist in every subject is there to guide us with so much ease.The overall learning experience with those faculties is excellent. There are two TAEs and Two CAEs are taken per semester in which TAEs are of 5 marks (each) and CAEs of 15 marks (each). The semester exam taken which is of 50 marks.It requires so much dedication to clear the exams.

The companies likes TCS, Mahindra,Prizm which offers intership to students as a trainee engineers in the companies with stipend amount of rs.8000 to 20000 per month. There is a centre of excellence at our college which provides us the internships. The project like supervising the site in specting the site excauting the pipe line, civil work,etc.

From seventh semester the students become eligible for the compus selection. Students with more than 60% marks till seventh semester are eligible for the placement cycles.Students must have more than 60-65% in SSC and HSC. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture,TCS, Mahindra,JSW,Adhani and may other with good offers come to our college and many students of our college are placed at them. The package which was highest was 18 LPA and average package is about 4.5LPA to 5LPA. Last year the placement percentage of GHRCE was about 75-80%. After degree I would like to do job as a civil engineer.

The fees structure varies every year.Every year the fees decrease and in final year it increases by some percentage. First year the full fees was about 160000 rs. and now it is about 180000 rs. Depending upon the caste reservation and annual income the scholarship and freeship has been given to the students.

The GHRCE is famous for events organised at it.The biggest fest of the college is Antaragini which is organised by the month of February or March.Tech fest like Hackathon, Technorian is organised by the college. Every month the events for other extra curricular activities is organised.Ekakshara (Ganesh Sthapana),Nauratri Fest (Dhamal Dandiya) also celebrated. Along with the course books the other story books or magazines are provided in the college. Every classroom has very comfortable and safe environment for both the students and facilities. It is so much fun and desire to learn new things in such beautiful classes. There are sports club at our college which organizes the sports events in the month of February. SRC and NSS like clubs are run by students of our college.Every department has their own forum like civil department has their own forum (Seismic Forum) which is run by students of civil department.

Eligibility of the course: the eligibility requires the appearance for the exams likes JEE and MHTCET for admission, cut off for different branch varies and for civil it was about 75% to 80%. The application form can be found online, the application fees and dates are provided on the particular site of application.The whole process for application is described on the site. The admission process was easy and simple for me.I feel there should be more ease in the admission process.
