Likes

The things I liked here is the college infrastructure.
The greenary of the campus and refreshing environment.

Dislikes

In the college there is no coding environment.
Most of the college students mostly focus on marketing as they have taken integrated course of MBA Tech
This college has some rules and regulations which they follow very strictly sometimes they don't see student's point of view.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college provides B. Tech in CS,CE, IT and AIML. Also they have an integrated 5 years course called MBA Tech in CE. The faculty student ratio is approximately 1:40. Most of the faculties are doing PHD, and use advance teaching methods. There are 2 mid term tests before term end exam, 1st occurs after 5th week of semester and 2nd after 10th week.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students can sit in placements. For B. Tech students near about 100 companies visit shirpur campus for placements and total students sitting in placements are approx 110-120. Highest package is offered by Oracle financial services of 22 LPA. According to college they offer 100% placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not find any scholarship opportunities as per my knowledge. Fees hikes near about 15K-20K in 3rd and 4th year of the course. In the starting of 4th year companies start visiting campus for placements.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is a 3 day long fest called Protsahan which occurs in the month of March. Tech fest of the college is called Ambiora, which generally happens in December or January. Sports fest is called Flavium which is almost one month long.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 boys and 2 girls hostel, where for the freshers there is a seperateed one called New Hostel which is a 5 star room and the building infrastructure is top class with facilities like swimming pool, indoor games, etc Meal quality compared to other hostels is very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

I have taken the admission at the time of COVID, so college gived me admission on basis of board results and JEE results. There are no reservation benefits as per my knowledge. For admission process anyone can visit www.nmims.edu

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

I had applied in srmist before this college I opted this because so that I could get additional bpharm+mba Which increases my avg package to 8,00,000 With good life in city like Mumbai Campus ensures 100% placement and degree value of mba is higher than SRM .
