Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course as I was a commerce student b.com is a perfect choice Faculty is good in KMC for Bcom But the FA teacher is a little rude Also, the administration people are pathetic. I went there to get my bus pass signed but he was not in the mood to do that so he denied it and asked me to come the next day. Although other teachers are very good at teaching. Exams are as per DU guidelines and are very easy to pass. I mean you can miss 50 percent of classes and still, you can pass the examinations.

Internships Opportunities

3

Our college has placement cells that provide opportunities for students to regularly. Students can apply for those at any time. The average stipend is around 4-5 thousand. Also, our college provides a principal internship program in which students can get a chance to work in college administration It provides roles like an accountant, library volunteer, and office work Stipend is 2.4k But only 2 students will be selected for every role. Besides this college websites and DU's official websites also provide internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

You can sit in placement drive from 6th sem to 8th sem Mostly there is a choice with students to continue for 4th year or leave the college after 3rd year. The main companies that visited the last sem were Deloitte, KPMG, TATA, etc. Many students got placed in Deloitte with a good package. The highest package of our college was 36 lakhs and the average package was around 7.8 lakhs Students got placed in the big 4 as advisory heads or consulting heads(commerce course) Placements for commerce students are far better than for other courses Almost 70% of students who sat in the placement drive were placed And for commerce, almost 90% of students were placed My plans are different from other students as I do not want to sit in placement drive and I will be opening my new business.

Fees and Financial Aid

In general, it's 13000 And for SC, ST, and OBC it's a little bit less 13000 is very less as compared to other colleges of the North campus like Hansraj and Hindu If you are a non Delhiite, then the cost of studying will be very high for you as you have to pay 10000 every month for PG rooms college has a minimum capacity for a hostel and the girls' hostel is also not there in KMC. Scholarships can be obtained by students very easily as our college has placement societies that regularly post opportunities. College also provides internships like principal internships etc At the start of the session, the union group also shared some scholarship opportunities that can be filled by students and it's exam based Jobs can be different for different people Like I know some people who got placed in Deloitte and other Big 4 as consulting partners or managers (BCOM course)

Campus Life

4

Life is not as good as were expected but you can't say it bad It's satisfactory And if you can devote time then it's really good for you Lots of fests take place in college there are nearly 15-20 societies in college So every 20-30 days, there is a fest We also had our fresher's party in October last year New books are not there in the library All books are taken by students at starting of the session and they do not return them for the whole period Books are 7-8 years old so no point in taking them Classrooms contain basic things like benches, blackboard, chart papers, etc do nothing special Various sports are present in college like football, basketball, table tennis, cricket, chess, etc We also have a gym in the college There are lots of societies in college The main societies are Comsoc, enactus, Bhoomi, aarambh, NCC, NSS, Center for Innovation, disability society, Northeast Society, etc. Also, every department has its own society.

Admission

Admission was done with the CUET exam. Then everything will be done gradually and you will get into your college. Afterward, physical verification will be done in college. CUET agency NTA should improve its management pathetic management Eligibility 12th pass Application form can be found at du csas Or nta cuet There can be many improvements in the admission process First of all, there was a complete absence of a system at exam giving centre Complete chaos My exam timing was 2 pm and the exam started at 6 pm can you imagine sitting there for more than 6 hours. But the college admission process after cuet was very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
