Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in computer science. I want to become a software developer. Faculty are well trained and most of them are from IITs. Most of the faculty have graduated from various IITs across the country. Teachers here train students well but some faculty not reached my expectations.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered by different companies like dell technologies and Sakthi photon industries and many placement training sessions are conducted by Rinex and IBM. Since I was studying second year I don't have any experience with projects. The role offered is an intern in the coding department.

Fees and Financial Aid

At SRM University the students who joined through srmjee or srmapt and emcet have different fee Structures. They both have different fee structures the Srmjee has 3.15lakh and the students who came through Emcet have 70k as a fee.

Campus Life

In srmap there are different social media handles, like the WhatsApp group where they give new updates done in SRM and the insta page, which contains different knowledge things. They do have different groups for different hostels, and the girls and boys are separated.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite good. The mess is average where we can survive. About the hostel rooms they are so tiny that we can't even have space to walk and the girls hostel is so good, we need a change in the boys hostel where we can have a combined hostel for both boys and girls.

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

I joined the college through AP Eamcet. So I didn't take any entrance exams. The cut-off rank for the OBC category to join in Srm AP mostly comes up to 8000. maximum the students from the Sri Venkateswara region will get seats more easily than the Andhra University region.

1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE. The online tests make it easy to join. Most students use the SRMJEEE exam for entry. The counseling is very fast and fair. You need a 60% score in high school to apply. I mainly choose this as this is a university and also they have a high percentage of placements for students in the university.
