Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very detailed and in-depth, there are a variety of faculty right from the assistant professors to the PhD experts and they guide you well. The student-to-teacher ratio is around 30:1. There are two term exams, one is around the month of December and 2nd around April.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

During the 7th semester, you can apply to internships with all the companies that come to the college placement. Apart from that, the college has signed an MoU with multiple foreign colleges such as the University of Singapore, the University of Malaysia, etc where students can pursue internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. Many MNCs like Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, and Amazon come to the campus for placement. Some of them do the mass hiring while some pick selected individuals. At my time of placement, almost 80-90 % of students got placed who appeared for placements. I have not very common plans, I am working in a MNC right now and will plan to pursue higher education after gaining some experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

For my specific course for my category, the fees were 80000 per year including the scholarship. As you go to the senior year the fees decrease a bit. The name of my scholarship was the OBC scholarship which was given by the government to waive off half of your fees and additionally, you get a 4000 rs stipend.

Campus Life

5

Many fests take place at the campus, to be honest, the campus is comparatively small to other campuses but the number of technical and cultural events take place in ample quantity. The classrooms have comfortable benches, and iMacs for computer sessions, and every class is recorded for later revision. The college also has social, cultural and technical groups like SRC, GDSC etc.

Admission

I was selected through the MHTCET exam marks, I found the college through a friend referral. The application started after May 2019 and application fees were 0. The reservation benefits are obviously there, students can avail of the reservation benefits in the hostel as well

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT.
