Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering. My faculty is some type. Some of them are very crazy and very strict. But our Branches have good placement. Our branches take part in various cultural communities.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

There are students who are eligible after the sixth semester for campus placements. There aren't any active backlogs. The average package of college is 4.0 lpa. Most of it companies visit here just like Cognizant and Capgemini.70% got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good. But if you want to take svmcm scholarship don't come to this college. This college also has very bad management about fees and student credit cards. They don't help you with anything. They create very much problems in WBSCC. So be careful.

Campus Life

There are various cultural communities and clubs in our college. There are music clubs. There are also host Tech fest and Culture Fest every year. And every robotics drone club and many things happen in our college. There are some workshops in our college.

Admission

The admission process is good. I took wbjee Entrance examination. I also gave Jee mains. I took admission through Jee mains counselling. There is also a direct entry into our college. There are some EWS benefits for some students. You can be admission to our college through Wbjee and Jee mains counselling.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
