Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE, but I don't know why. The faculty is quite good and they have a lot of experience regarding subjects and practical experience. a lot of faculty members are there like HOD, professor, teaching faculty, and. Professor e.t.c. The faculty should be a PhD scholar and most of them are from IITs. Their teaching methods are impressive, as they use slides, animations, board for brief explanations, examples, and all. The examinations are conducted from time to time and they are easy if you understand the subject and difficult when you don't. Depends on the people.
Placement Experience
Placements are 100 percent. From the 5th or 6th semester, we are eligible for placements on campus or outside. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and top companies in international are being visited for campus placements. The highest package is 50lpa and the average is 8lpa. My plan is to abroad and pursue my higher studies in Germany.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends on the SRMJEE mains exam written by the students and their ranks. For EAPCET students, the course cost is 70k per year. And remaining costs up to 25k. So total 95k. The opportunity of scholarship is maximum for foreign students only, less opportunities for national students.
Campus Life
CPU life is wonderful. Everything is maintained well, clean, and clear. Fests are being conducted every month like Infinitus, aloha, etc. Tech fests are also conducted by some of the hackathons in our college. Most of the books regarding the subject are available in the library. I don't know about journals, but I have seen some there. Amenities in our classroom are separate wheelchairs for each student with an attached and movable tabletop, tv, two boards, charging points, etc.. Sports and extracurricular activities are always supported by our college. Community service and NSS are also there. There are some social groups on Instagram, Twitter etc...which are being run by students and council members.
Hostel Facilities
Bed without a mattress is provided cupboard with all needed shelves, chair, study table and some shelves attached to it. Meal quality is also good and the menu will get changed by every 3 months. The registration process for the hostel will be allocated in our portal itself. We can select the room type like 2,3,4 sharing includes AC/non-AC. We can also select room number and floor. Affordable means it's somewhat costly but worth it for some rooms, we have to choose it. In my campus, I was allocated with a 2 sharing non-AC room.
Admission
I took the admission process when I got selected through EAPCET 2nd phase. I am an NCC cadet, OC category with an EWS certificate. And my rank is 21k. The admission process is just reporting with the documents, signing the formalities for hostel and college rules, and then waiting until the college creates our email id and portal. The eligibility depends on the category and rank. For CSE, the OC category rank should be less than 7000. I have already discussed above regarding my reservation benefits.
Other Applied Colleges
