Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members in our college are most informative and active. Our college faculty members are so friendly and the teaching technique is very good. Maximum students are failed in their semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

I have no idea about internship experience because I am in 3rd semester. However, I hear from the seniors that there are good internship opportunities in our college. Few companies and industries give a stipend of 10000 per month but most of the companies do not give any stipend.

Placement Experience

Six-semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies TCS, JSW, WIPRO, Cognizant, Capgemini, MindTree, INFOSYS, AMAZON, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL and many more come to the college campus. Approx 70 per cent of students get placement. I have decided to get a placement after the course.

The fees Structure is B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering 407950.00 B.Tech Electrical Engineering = 406950.00 ECE = 406950.00 CE = 406950.00 CSD = 406950.00 DS = 407950.00 IT = 375680.00 ME = 406950.00 AI & ML = 406950.00 There is a government scholarship SVMCM, which offers 60000 in a year.

Campus Life

In the annual fest "Zeal" in March, many celebrities come here and there are also many programmes like dance, singing, drama and many more. Our college conducts a tech fest named "Horizon", there are many events in the fest such as coding competitions, Robotics, Photography, etc.

Admission

If you have a good rank in wbjee then you can get admission through the counselling process to get CSE and ECE courses. I wanted to get admission in EE so I got direct admission. If you had Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English in 12th then you can easily get admission.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
