Entrance Preview
The entrance exam I took was CET, had a rank of 6309. College is known for mechanical engineering. The course which I opted is mechanical engineering, so that says it all.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good, Found it tough initially. But was able to manage it as course progressed, all thanks to our lecturers and staffs. First year was kinda hard, to settle in cause of new atmosphere.
Internships Opportunities
Many software based companies as well as core companies come, with an average package of 3.5LPA. Companies like hcl, Mercedes, bosch, lnt, ibm, hp, etc
Placement Experience
Very good, Average Package of 3.5LPA Over 1000 students get placed every year. Maximum package that was offered was around 9LPA. Companies like hcl, infosys, Mercedes, bosch etc come in.
College Events
There are lots of cultural and technical events such as workshops, College fest, Vibrations(cultural event), etc. Sports events are organised. Inter college, intra, cricket football tournaments are organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive. Usually high when compared to other colleges. For a student coming from CET, it's around 22000 a year. The college fees. Which is higher compared to other colleges where In its around 15 to 18K.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I don't have any idea about this. But have heard my friends applied for few scholarships and with a positive response. I personally have not applied for any.
Campus Life
Excellent. The workshops, sports, cultural activities. There are lots of workshops being conducted in the campus. Sports like cricket football tournaments are organised. Cultural activities like dance singing are organised as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Very bad mess food. Mess foods Have very bad reviews. It's not upto the standards and the money you pay for it. Not worth.
Alumni/Alumna
No. Have not got an opportunity to meet my seniors n actually talk to them. But it seems they're chilled out and actually help the juniors to settle in quickly to the new surroundings and atmosphere.
Exam Structure
Chilled out. It's not too hectic. I'm talking about the schedule of a mechanical engineer. I don't find it hectic, labs are fun. Overall not stressed out.
Faculty
Good. They are very supportive, will help you when ever you approach them. All the lecturers are well qualified Modern techniques like projectors, Ppts etc are used in order to make a student understand the actual concept.
