Reality of VIT AP.

The course curriculum is not very advanced but you can get knowledge through projects, as VIT trust in attending knowledge. We have to do a project in the second year itself, so you will get massive knowledge. Every faculty in VIT is a very good lecturer. They are very friendly and highly qualified. We have three exams in every semester. You can pass all the exams easily in one night of study.

We have a separate department for internships which is the Career Development Centr( CDC) in VITAP. So every CSE student will get an opportunity to do an internship either nationally or internationally. Most of the international internships are paid. If you are talented enough, you will get a stipend or paid internships.

In Andhra Pradesh, VIT is famous for its placements. The reality of campus placements in VIT AP is you will get a job for sure but after the scenario is changed, our seniors get jobs, but companies are not giving offer letters to the students. Companies haven't given offer letters to some of the 20th-match students until now. We have the highest package of 60, lakhs per annum and the average package is around 7.5 LPA. I want to be placed in a good company with a decent salary, This is my future plan after my degree

There are five categories in BTech. I am from Category 2, so my tuition fee is 3,04,000. I got a 49,000 rank in the VIT entrance exam. There is no fee hike policy in VIT officially but they will increase hostel fees according to the inflation. In my case, They increased 10,000 hostel fees from the previous year. VIT doesn't provide any scholarships, but you will get an educational loan easily from an Indian bank.

I enjoyed it a lot in VIT as the students here are friendly and the infrastructure is very good. VTOPIA is our annual cultural fest and VTAPP is our annual technical fest. Our cultural fest will be held in March and the technical fest will be held in December. We have well well-organised library and library and every class with projector. We have indoor badminton court and an indoor basketball court. We don't have enough space to play football but students will play in that small ground only.

Some of the hostels are good but some of them are very bad and the hostel is very expensive on campus. it is good to take PG outside the campus. You will get PG for 6000 per month near the VIT AP campus. You can take rent which would cost around 10,000 for one house.

You need to take the VIT entrance exam to join any of the four branches of VIT. That is the VITEEE exam. You can find the application form on the VIT official website. Usually, it would happen in April or May there. There are no reservation facilities for this exam. You need to pay 1350 as exam fees, and 6000 to attend counselling.
