Canteen foods are not best and in our college there are 2 canteen.
Car parking areas are not sufficient in that college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a famous college and the best college with low fees. College doesn't provide the ratio of the faculty and students but there are enough students in our college. A maximum number of faculty have qualified for graduation and PhD. There are 6 semesters in 3 years for lateral students and for regular students 8 semesters in 4 years.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 218000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From 5 semesters students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro, TCS etc visit our college and they give a lot of offers for students. The highest and average packages are 14 lpa and 6 lpa in our college. Above 60 per cent of students get on-campus placement. I want to do a government job in our state.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is safety when to pay our fees. There are svmcm scholarships in our college. The college also provides internships with stipends and also jobs with the best salary of an average of 6 lakh per annum. The college also support us to give financial assistance.

Campus Life

UDDAN is our annual fest and tech fest and it is held in February month. There is a library in our college. so we don't have to buy books, if any student has a college I'd card then he can get books. A large number of classrooms are digital. Many students participate in sports and extracurricular activities on the campus. There are clubs like ACM etc are available in our college.

Admission

For lateral I had to pass my diploma after class 10. I got the application form from the official website of the college and learned about the fees from managers. Yes in our college there are benefits for the reservation category. No, I don't want to see it in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
