Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good. The faculty are very kind and helpful. In Sliet there are 2 minors and quizzes with a major. The result is made by combining their exams. Also, there is a lot of free time available.

Internships Opportunities

L&T, Deloitte, Jsw, honda, Mahindra etc companies providing internships here. Which is quite good. Our college also participates in national level hackathon also mechanical department participates in racing competition

Placement Experience

Every more than a hundred companies visited including JSw, iagec, tata motor, honda, Wipro, dellotite, L&T etc are major recruiters. The average package also good at 6-8lpa Also, placements are increasing day by day.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here you can complete your btech program under 3lakh rupee. So per semester fees here is only 50000 which is very cheap including hostel charges. Also, scholarship also provides to those who have high cgpa in semester exams

Campus Life

The name of the annual festival is Madhuram and also there is an annual technical fest named Techfest. From time to time sports tournaments and hostel tournaments are arranged. Also annual sports day also celebrated

Hostel Facilities

Mess quality is quite good you have to pay 90 rupee per day for it. Hostel accomodation process is also very felixible. Person can check it further from official sliet webseite. In first year 3 sitter room is provided

Admission

To take admission in SLIET you have to appear in Jee mains and have to clear it with a good rank. Then through Jossa counselling, I can take admission here. Here also reservations for Obc, Sc and St candidates and also scholarship facility also there

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
