Review of the first AI University in India

The course curriculum was very effective and the environment near the college seemed very enticing. Every mentor is assigned around 30 students who work directly under them for better supervision. High-qualified faculty with good experience in the corporate field. Exams are conducted two times ( one unit test and then the final term). The exams were very sophisticated and well conducted.

Galaxy Surfacants, Asian Paints, IDFC bank, and Bajaj Ltd have visited for internships and provided stipends ranging from 10k to 20k. The roles offered were basically in the sales and marketing domain, along with some banking roles for the people with the finance domain.

Placements start usually from the 5th semester itself. A number of great companies have recently visited the campus includes Tech Mahindra, Tata Capital, Nestle, Asian Paints, IDFC bank etc. The highest package this year was taken by an HR student with about a package of 14 lakhs. Marketing also has gone to 11 lakhs. Almost 100% of the students are getting placed.

The fees were hiked by one lakhs for us in 2023. The cost structure of every course is different. Various scholarships are available for students based on academics, merit, entrance exam scores, and scholarships based on various regions.

The annual fest is called Rush4Rush, a big inter-college event which includes lots of activities starting from sports, business debates, drama, dance programs, ramp walks etc. It is usually conducted in dec-jan every year. The library is my favorite place on campus full of all varieties of books from academics to fiction to journals etc. The infrastructure of UBS is its highlight. It is fascinating without a doubt. Extracurriculars involve events organised by various clubs. All kinds of events starting from house parties to group discussions to quizzes to dance programs, ramp walks, festival celebrations etc are celebrated in UBS.

The room sizes are small but include all necessities from cupboards to tables to drawers, AC etc The meal is another best part of UBS. It has collaborated with Sodexo to provide us with high-quality meals. The registration process is very easy and is usually guided by the counsellors.

The admission process was smooth and convenient for the students. To avail of the course you need to score well in the entrance exam and clear the group discussion as well as the interview. The forms, fees and all other details are available on the college's official website.

The topics in GD were based on current affairs mostly and some were kind of situational. The interview was mostly about yourself, your background, your area of interest etc. Preparation of the GD is solely based on the candidate. I had to learn the recent affairs and focus on improving my vocabulary as well as my communication skills.
