Course Curriculum Overview
I am still to give 1st sem exams. However, you don't have to put all that effort into 1st sem exam. A good revision of notes will be enough to score accordingly. What you have to manage are cultural societies if you are in any. The faculty here will help you with every doubt you ask.
Fees and Financial Aid
Indeed it was a fee hike due to NEP.. Now our courses are self-sustained still sometimes we don't get things accurate. The same course used to charge even less than half of the fee it is charging right now. There were some fee recession or scholarship programs that students could approach through document verification.
Campus Life
The fresher's party of ARSD college was nothing less than a fest, It was a DJ night with lots of food stalls and different cultural competitions. it was well-organized. For sports it's everything here badminton court, TT, basketball court, football ground and a cricket field. Classrooms are provided with projectors, good desk fans, etc some have AC as well. There's a library as well which is well-maintained and well-disciplined with everything one needs to read. There are different cultural societies like music society, dramatics society (stage and street), dance society(classic and Indian), spiritual society, Film society, and the list goes on and on its everything for everyone here. For NGOs NSS and CDF are there which are working fabulously for defence aspirants there's NC for tech enthusiasts there is IT cell etc.
Admission
I took an entrance exam named CUET(central university entrance exam). It's 3 phase exam 1st you have to apply in through courses and universities 2nd you you have to give an exam with a subject combination according to the needs of the courses and universities you have opted then you have 3rd phase(it's particularly for DU) in which you have to fill in CSAS portal in which rank your colleges and courses according to your preferences and document verification at the University level in online mode happens. After that according to your score on the CUET exam, you get a college and a course in which you can start taking classes. After that, a small(actually big) physical verification of documents takes place in colleges only after settling of classes and students. This was my experience and it's nothing less than a roller coaster ride it may vary depending on the college and the round of cut-off you enter through.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
I applied for some of North campus colleges of DU through CUET but due to tough competition I guess I didn't got my name there in list... Though I got admission in one of the best college of DU ARSD college in of South Campus
