- The way faculties encourages and guides the students is one the best things. Also the faculties are most talented and experienced.
- Idealab of college is another best things in campus, where students are free to explore themselves with innovative ideas and make those ideas happens in reality.
- RNXG, Phoenix clubs from college are one of the top most impactful clubs in college journey. These clubs are always in top 3 in all Maharashtra.
Dislikes
- Admission process from caste basis. To get admission from open caste you should have 90+ percentile and 83k admission fees.
- Hostel mess is co-operative mess it's good things to have such service, but it is not worthy as it should be.
- Ground permission, students are not allowed on ground from 10PM onwards this is one of the hated things in college
Course Curriculum Overview
Because of my keen interest in electronics and future scope, I opted for the electronics and telecommunication branch. The faculties of our department are Ph.D. qualified and have the best teaching methods. We have our faculty-to-student ratio as 1 faculty per 23 students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is based on category, the general category students have 83k INR fees, whereas OBC students have 43000 INR per year and SC & ST students as 2000 per year. The government of Maharashtra provides scholarships to the students of OBC, SC & ST categories.
Campus Life
The students of our college organize various technical and cultural festivals such as pragyaa and Utsav. We also have a sports event Zenith in which sports teams of various colleges can participate. We have various clubs such as RNXG, Phoenix, etc.
Admission
To get admission into SGGSIE&T, one has to first clear the MHTCET exam, and through CAP rounds he can be admission into the college. I scored 93 percent on the exam. The admission process starts with document submission and verification and after paying fees the admission is confirmed.
