Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in electronics from childhood and wanted to study more about it. faculty student ratio is 2:5. Faculties are phd holders and graduated from top universities. Exams are conducted once in two months and it's not that difficult to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

More than 100 companies come during the 3rd year of students and give them a 6month internship opportunity where they can work as an intern, they can also confirm their job there if they work well. Top MNCs come for internships too

Placement Experience

From 7th semester, students are eligible for placements, There are more than 60 companies that has visited VIT. The highest package was 1.2Cr which was given by a company called motoroq. percentage of students getting placed is 95%. I'm planning to do a job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure is based on the VITEEE rank, good rank holders need to pay a little less than others. Some scholarships are given based on merit and many courses are present to help the students financially.

Campus Life

Annual fest is called VIBRANCE and tech fest is called TECHNOVIT, vibrance is conducted in march and technovit in october. Books are available in large number. Sports facilities are good, many fields and courts are present. Numerous groups are present in college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good, daily cleaning is done, water is available, ACs are present and wifi is available. Mess food quality is OK. Registration is done during college admission and based on the number of people in a room, charges are fixed.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

There was an entrance exam called VITEEE. Application form is available online,Apllication fees was 1000 rupees. It is conducted after JEE mains exam. Based on the ranking in VITEEE, branches are allocated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
