The quality of food they provide in hostel
The faculty to students ratio inside the campus
safety for girls as they can't move outside the hostel after 8 pm

The high intake inside the campus the lack of quality students
The lack of sports facilities and lack of components

The faculty is very simple and good they all are PhD form reputed institutes and they are very supportive and comming to exams they are moderate in toughness level. The student to faculty ratio is 5:1 approx

Internships Opportunities

Yah overall the internship oppertunity is good there if you try to get the internship then you can easily get. About 100-150 companies come to every year so no need to worry about the internship opportunity also.

Placement Experience

Placement are likely good in college as many companies come in campus every year like 700-800 so no need to worry about and if you are well prepared then you can easily get the job. The average package offered last year was 9.5lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on your category ,the category fee in which you is existing. Like for category 1its 200000 and for category 2 it's 300000 and for 3rd category it's 400000 and for 4 category it is 4.5lakh and for 5 it is 5lakh

Campus Life

The campus life is like in balance mode and there if you expect to have night out and fun then just forget this. Because your intime for hostel is 9 pm and for girls it's 8 pm. So rest of these things everything is good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are just awesome and specially the food over there is very good and you may never feel bad for facilities in vit Chennai. There is a online registration for hostel room and mess also

Hostel Fee: INR 188000 per year

Admission

Admission process is very simple just give vitee exam after that you will get the rank and after that just participate in councelling and then you get the branch as your rank. There is no reservation .

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
