Likes

The lush green campus and sports facilities are good
Availability of different important items are there in the campus
Placements opportunities are there for achievers

Dislikes

The hostel and meals are not upto the mark
Some faculties are not good enough for college
Diseases like dengue and conjunctivitis quickly spreads due to unhygienic conditions

Nearly All the faculty members are good and helpful ,faculty student ratio approx 1:24 Many faculties have done or doing PhD the teaching method is also good they provide excellent PPT for studying and use projectors during classes

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about internship opportunities in vit as I am first year student but as far as I know and I have saw that many students get good companies for internships and hence get experience to boost their confidence

Placement Experience

Many companies such as Microsoft Wipro Infosys tcs and hundreds more visit vit and give placements vit says 100 percent placements but obviously this isn't true my plans will be grabbing a dream or super dream company after my degree by in campus placement only

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the fees is little high as compared to other colleges but still they provide better opportunities I haven't heard many scholarship but yes If u top ur board exam then there is 100 percent liberation on tution fees

Till know which is my 1st semester, our college fest techno vit has been completed it was grand fest for 3 days we did many games and learnt many stuffs about drones hacking ai and many more.sports facilities are also kind of good and many clubs such as linuxclub sangam and swarajya club help students to bring out there talents

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility I would say not kinda good we have a ac almirah rack and dumper beds in our rooms ,meal quality is kind of average sometimes they do serve eatable food but sometimes it feels like to vomit

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

Exam viteee is conducted of 150 marks beaded on that category is divided there are 5 categories as categories increase fees also increase . In result your rank is displayed after which registration process starts and u have to fill atleast 25 branches in different branches of vit

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
