the hosteland facylity is very poor does not likeable.
i most hated in this collage is the regging culture.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love medicine too much so I choose this course. and it is one of the oldest branches of JU. there are a good number of faculty and student ratio in our branch there are 69 faculty members. most of the faculty do PhD and their teaching method is good. 3 exam Semsister and exam question is moderate.

Class Size: 144Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many companies come to visit our campus like Tata, LIC, Aditya Builder, etc and they give different types of jobs like an assistant junior engineer, etc. I do not know about projects and outcomes to clarify tasks.

Placement Experience

From seven semesters students become eligible for campus placement. google Facebook Microsoft, Texas, Samsung, I don't know about this. This year 93 percent of students get placements. I want to go to PSU company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course is 3000 per year. there are no hike policies to library give free of cost books. you can get an SVMCM scholarship. College Bank gives you an education loan if you need it. I don't know the third option.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Sanskriti and there is no tech fest. every kind of book available in the library .amenities in classrooms. the sports culture of Ju is poor. But the Club of Ju is pretty good. here you can get a cultural club, coding club, etc.

Admission

you need 12th passed with a 60 percent mark. You will find this thing on the wbjee official website. If you SC or obc or ST candidate your chances will be increased so Much. you will get various scholarships from here. no, the admission process is good.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More
