Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE at SRM due to the demand for the course industrially. the faculty: student is almost 1:30. Faculty members in the college are very friendly and they always interact with the students and help in their all round development. SEM exams are conducted once every 5 months. Additionally, Mid exams, internals, externals, Classes and viva are taken frequently to ensure the continuous learning of a student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students who joined SRM through AP EAPCET don't have to pay their fees because the AP govt will take care of their fees. Students who join SRM through SRMJEE have to pay fees which around 3 to 3.5 lakh annually. College won't provide any kind of scholarships or internships in the college and it all depends on the student self interest. Placements will given in the final of the clg, for that students have to travel to SRN KTR campus(main campus), Chennai.
Campus Life
Clg fests are conducted regularly like once every 2 months. Aloha, Paridhaan and Infinitus are the college fests names which are conducted in March, May and November respectively. SRM University has the availability of every club like singing, dance, drama, anime, movie, literature, cartoon, yoga and photography clubs which are very active throughout the year. Every week Thursday afternoon is club day in the college. Students are requested to only participate in the club activities that day. Every club is specially run by the student communities.
Admission
I have joined SRM University through the AP EAPCET exam. Those who want to join SRM without writing the AP EAPCET have to attend the SRMJEE exam. Students who join SRMJEE have to pay a lot of fees ie. around 3.5 lakh per year. The application form for the exam is available on the SRM AP official website.
