- Hostel life is very gerat time you spend with friends.
- The diversity of people social interaction you get from peoples from different states and places you get to learn new new things about different culture.
- campus is very beautifull and green sometimes in night i feel grateful that i got in this campus the wind of chennai is so pleasent .
Dislikes
- The kind of rules VIT have is just unmanageble and PDA guards
- The climate of chennai is fugged up it rains almost every day which makes sky so dull and creates a dark kind scence everyday you barely see sunlight.
- Discrimnation between north indians and south indians and the way south indians lives in hostel and do in class is just shit.
Course Curriculum Overview
VIT follows FFCS which is good but just a name we have to choose from pre defined slots they say that you can study with other branches but in real case you can just swap batches teaching is based on you if you get good marks and attendence you can chosse good teachers otherwise you have to choose from left outs.
Internships Opportunities
Don,t know much about internship but we get like 10 to 12 mails everyday regarding intership which is meant for second years so i think intership oppurtinties are pretty good but i would say overeall it ddepends on you at the first place.
Placement Experience
My plans after getting degree is not clear now i have many options like i think i can do MBa MTech or i would do my business but i think mostly i would like to become a pilot but don,t know i would see till second year and when i am clear about it i will do something.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees structure is okayish you can get fees from 1.5 to 5 lakhs based on your prefernce and branch hostel prices are higher than vellore campus but i would say hostels are pretty good and mess food is eatable .for scholaship part i don,t know if vit offers any scholarship.
Campus Life
social life is pretty good clubs and infrasturcture is really sexy but there are some shit rules in campus like in time and all and there also PDA gaurds sometime wardens have there own rules they won,t even allow boys to wear gym vests in hostel otherwise everyhting is great classroom does,t feel like college but yay acceptable sports are pretty much great but due to overpopulation in VIT you have to wait for everything.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are great i would say rooms are very good but again there are shit rules and religion based discrimination muslim students do namaz in the hostel hall but you can,t even say jai shree ram during india,s match. toilets are veery bad mess menu never changes for 3 to 4 months but food is eatable.
Admission
First you have to give VITEEE then you will get marks after that you get your rank then you have to go for counselling in which there is category system which is like if you have a big rank you can get desired branch by paying extra money there are total 5 category and you can get CSE core in cat 5 for like 20000 rank.
