THE REAL TRUTH OF VIT CHENNAI

I wanted to pursue BTech in CS CORE since childhood, as I had already thought that the future will have a lot of scope of Software, Artificial Intelligence,etc. Well, the teachers here are well qualified and their teaching sense is very well mannered.

There are many companies that come for interviews like Google, TISCO,Infosys, TCS,Microsoft,etc. The internships starts from your 3rd year itself, you get an opportunity to be an intern in a company so soon and gain experience.

Well , I am a freshser so I dont have that much idea of the placemnt criteria but all I know is that the placemnts are only based on the skills you have and not only on your CGPA. The highest placemnt this year was given to a person from Mechanical branch. The average package went upto 12 LPA this year and 98% of the students got placed.

The Fee structure is based on your rank in the VITEEE exam. According to your rank , you will get an option during counselling and with that you get a course with a particular category. The category: fees is explained below: 1. Category 1: 2LPA 2. Category 2: 3LPA 3. Category 3: 4.02 LPA 4. Category 4: 4.5LPA 5. Category 5: 5LPA *(These fee structure do not include hostel and mess charges)

There are many events occurring every month of the year. But the main events are the tech and cultural fests which happens once a year. The tech fest is called TECHNO-VIT and the cultural fest is called VIBRANCE. In terms of sports, there are variety of sports and sports amenities, here in VIT Chennai. There are smart classroms as well. Coming to clubs, we have uncountable clubs that a person can join just by giving interview and answering simple questionon their past experience on a particular field.

The hostels here are not less than a five star hotel. It has a 24/7 Wi-Fi access, the A/C turns on everyday at 6PM and is on till 6AM in the morning, but this inly during weekdays. On weekends, it's on 24/7. In terms of the food provided in the mess, we have decent food compared to our mother's magic of cooking, but it is good that you won't hesistate when you get used to it.

I gave my entrance exam of VIT (VITEEE) on 26th March'23, and got the results in a week. I got 9k rank. Well I was not that satisfied with my marks as I wanted to get admission in the main campus of VIT(Vellore) with category-2 or 3. But then I got category-2 in VIT Chennai. My parents convinced me and told me its all the same and I also got to know that these two campuses(Vellore and Chennai) will give interview for the placements together at the same place and at the same time. And that's how I came to VIT CHENNAI
