Course Curriculum Overview
NIE's CSE curriculum merges theory with practicality, spanning programming, algorithms, and software engineering. I picked this for its tech relevance. Faculty-student ratio in class is 1:60, but overall it's around 1:20. Most instructors hold postgraduate qualifications, employing interactive teaching methods. We undergo Test 1, Test 2, and the final SEE. Exams are timely, challenging to assess understanding, demanding consistent effort and critical thinking.
Internships Opportunities
Multiple companies came here like Twillio, JPMC, Cisco, Infosys for internship and placement Companies like Mercedes-Benz also came here to hire students from mechanical Engineering. Overall students from all Branches got opportunity to do internships and get placement.
Placement Experience
NIE, Mysuru, starts placements from 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cisco, Twillio visit. High placement was around 50L. More than 70 percent gets placed. Post-degree, considering job opportunities in software dev and possible further studies for specialization.

Admission
The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in Mysuru considers candidates who have completed their 12th grade for admission. For the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program, the COMEDK exam cutoff was around 6500 this year.
