The overall infrastructure is great including the building and hostel conditions.
The faculty of vit are well qualified and the teaching methods are decent as well.
The on campus placement of vit are great with many industries coming on campus for placement.

Dislikes

First semester students are not allowed to leave the campus
There are a lot of exams with exams being almost every month

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I choose was Data science dhe to mh personal experience. The faculty student ratio is decent with about 50-70 students jn each class. The faculty are qualified and the teaching system has its advantages and disadvantage. The exams are held three times and the level keeps changing.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee depend on your vitee marks. The more you score the less you will have to pay l. The change of fees goes from 2 laks to 5 lacks depending on your marks.There are scholarships available for people in need. And the campus jobs are decent.

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs available jn the campus. Ranging from technical cluns to non technical clubs as well like dancing and singing etc. Althought the students in first semester are not allowed to leave the campus. We can leave the campus from second semester onwards.

Admission

VIT conducts an entrance exam called VITEE and the marks you gain in the exam decides which course you are eligible for or which campus you can take. There are no negative markings and a digital calculator is provided. There is no reservation for girls or for OBC. The cutoff of the exam changes according to the paper level. About 3 lack students give exam from which about 1 lack are selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
