Course Curriculum Overview

I have a deep in interest in electrical field with a spark of CSE .There are plenty of faculties required for the students and most of the faculties are from IITs and are hold a Ph.d l.Terms exams were a bit hard to pass as time was limited.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various companies visit our campus for internship both for paid and unpaid internship in both online and offline mode every student has to do atleast one internship as they will get rewarded with 15 credits.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement after 6th semester Companies like TCS, Microsoft, Accenture visited our campus. The highest package (85 lakhs) was claimed by a Mechanical engineering student last year. Placement percentage is about 80% My after plan is to go for masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is totally based on VITEEE ranking there are 5 category of fee. Category one is the cheapest and Category 5 is the costliest.The fee also depends on the department you want to choose for example If you want to get enrolled in Computer Science Engineering with a high rank you have to pay more l.

Campus Life

Annual Fest is called Vibrance while the Tech fest is called TechnoVit . Vibrance is conducted in march and Technovit is conducted in October generally. There are plenty of required books in the library.The classroom are not equipped wit ACs.Sports are given a good push in college.There are many social groups and clubs like FYI (Fraternity of Young Innovators)

Hostel Facilities

The room is equipped with ACs,personal table,shelf, cupboard and beds.(I live in 6 Bedded AC room) Meal quality is average The registration process is done through freshers portal which was a easy process to get a hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 188500 per year

Admission

I was preparing for competitive exams from 2 years thats why I got to know about VITEEE so I prepared well and appeared for the exam and cracked with a 19K Rank .The application form can be found on VITEEE website with a fee of 1400

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
