Likes

It is located in a open place it is bit good for studying atmosphere.
The quality of the studies is well planned.
Infrastructure is good and the caterers are well mannered.

Dislikes

There is no much time left to participate in extra-curricular activites and sports.
There are going on building the new buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it has some future benfits with the fast growth of technology, ratio is ok almost 1:200 faculty:student ratio.All the faculty are well qualified and they have good teaching methods also.There is no much time for the semester exams it is just 3 months of preparation time with more amount of syllabus

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the student depends on how much rank he/she managed to get in the VITCC examination they diveide the ranks into categories and they take fees according to that.I am in 1st year so I don't know about the jobs and scholarships.

Campus Life

Name of the tech fest is TECHNOVIT it is conducted in october of every year. Nmae of the annual fest is VIBRANCE which is conducted in march of every year. Classrooms are not so special but normal classrooms like in school. Every type of sport is played inside the campus and if interested there are many extra-curricular activites to do. There are many clubs of every categories, a total of 110 clubs including main and sub group clubs.

Admission

eligibility of the course is almost 60 percent, we can find the application form in the offcial website of VIT-chennai, There is no reservation benefits, there is no need of any improvement in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
