The experience is great the surrounding is also great
The campus is great and pollution free and nice view from hostel
This university is one of the best universities in the Northern India

Dislikes

The campus is small as you can say of just 17 acrs
The hostel rules are very strict you cannot leave hostel without warden’s permission
This university is very strict about the uniform thus students doesn’t like to wear uniforms in university

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I want to learn machine learning and develop software application There are 30 students in my class and there is 1 mentor and the ratio is 1:10 The minimum qualification for the faculty is PH.D and MTECH

The chitkara university is a veritable cornucopia of educational service the companies that visited the campus provides the great packages and also for the internships the project gives you experience how to handle your future projects in the companies

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
