I think i really liked the hostel here
The classrooms here are fully ventilated.
Faculty here is very nice and helpful and i like it

Dislikes

Food is always good but sometimes it becomes so regular like it does not change and you get bored eating it.
Yeah one thing sometimes there in the sports arena there are no equipments provided.
There is a problem of not getting hot water sometimes while bathing.

So my course is BE CSE. i chose this course because of the growing scope in this field and I have always wanted to explore the field of computer science. The faculty student ratio is also good as per the calculations it is like 1 teacher for 30 students. Here the teachers are reallly hardworking and helpful and have a good understanding and knowledge of the course they are teaching. So the term exams are held only twoce a year but there are also unit exams which are held regularly on monthly basis. The exams are hard enough that you need to study regularly to clear then.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think as compared to the other colleges here the fees is a bit advantage to us because it is not that high. Compared to the same type of other private engineering colleges which provides with the same quality eduacy at a high fees. I am a first year studnet so i haven't got any interships from the college

Campus Life

Name of the annual fest at our college is EXPLORE DREAM DISCOVER EXPLORE. There is a good thing here that students don't need to buy books here they can get each and every book they want. Classrooms are fully ventilated and they have proper start class systens to teach. There is a whole arena for sports and a football and a basketball ground too. There a lot of extracurricular activities to do here and many clubs are there which are runby students.... Even the college website is also made by a student from this university only.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in the room are almorah, cupboard table chair , fans, bed , matress , air cooler. Compared to the other colleges the food quality is very good an deven there are regular food quality check for the safer side. So the registratio. Process for the hostel is very easy you just need to specify while admission whether you want a hostel room or not and then need to pay for the room the seperate website they have made only for hostel registration.

Admission

Overall talking about the admission process i saw that it was easy and nice i just needed to register myself on their website for the wished course . For finding their website just search for chitkara university admission process and their website will be shown at the top of the page. Yeah there were a benefit of me registering early because later the seats for my wished course that is CSE were full. Which I think is good looking at the admission scenario

Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
