Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is booming and demand for good engineers is high. Faculty student ratio is 1:32 Qualification- faculties have done their PHD's while many have applied for it and are currently pursuing it. Currently I am in 1st semester and Semester end haven't started yet but Internal are going and they are not that difficult. you can score good marks even with 2-3 days of preparation. Exams are held on time always.
Internships Opportunities
TCS, Infosys and cognizant offered roles like assistant data analyst, software developer etc with stripend varying from 5-35k. Haven't got internship yet so not sure about projects but have heard from seniors that enough time is given and with hardwork and dedication you can complete project with desired outcomes.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year Companies like Infosys, cognizant, TCS visit campus for recruitment. average package is around 8 lpa and highest 46 as of now. Almost all eligible student got placed (above 85%). I will look for good placement or will try off campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees hike of 7% is observed for every comedk college including mine and complete BE in CSE will cost you around 16-17 lakhs(excluding your personal expenses and including Hostel fees)here if you came via Comedk exam. Scholarship are given to girl candidates and some reserved seat localites and also to J&K students.
Campus Life
Techneiks is the annual fest of our college which is not very grand but you can meet new people and vibe with them. Mostly a tech related fest. Happens usually in winter around December Libraries are well equipped with required books for all courses. Class is decent, nothing special but you may feel lack of AC especially during summer, rest fans,lights, boards ,projectors,bench etc are provided in each classroom. College organizes extra curricular sometimes like debates , presentations etc and sports tournament are held inter-college level in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc There are clubs like GDSC,IEEE ,OYNX being the most popular ones.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are 3 seater for boys and are provided with a common fan, 2 tuubelights and study table, Almirah, book shelf, bed for each student. Meals are average at best. Chappitis are not cooked properly but the menu is fine and completely VEG with some decent variety like paneer, dal, mix veg, occasional mushroom etc Hostels are relatively expensive in a city like mysore and registration process is fast.

Eligibility- Minimum of 60% in class 12 in PCM Subjects from recognized board Application form can be found online in the Comedk official website along with all the required information like admission fees and application dates Reservation for J&K candidates also for local karnataka students Physical verification of document is time consuming
