Course Curriculum Overview
This was the best option for me based on my jee mains rank. There are 88 students in our branch. there are 8 semesters, four year course, so 2 sem/year. each sem have 4-5 theroy subject (including electives) and 2-3 labs.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is compulsory for all students after there pre final year ( in summer). Student can apply and choose form both mode of internship- Oncampus and offcampus. Or else a student can also do research intern under a prof.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester the placements starts for btech and 9th for dual degree. There are both type of compony that visit the campus for placement: core and non-core. Avg package is arround 13lpa. more than 95% studunets get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fee is 5lac for btech (excluding mess and hostel fee. There is no specific scholership given by college, but fee concession is there based on the income group (document required: Family income cirtificate)
Campus Life
Life in campus is overall good. Acedemic life may give some trouble to a student with respect to attendence( 85% compulsory). But hostel + club + Social life etc provides enough enjoyment in your life. A centrel library is there in campus, containing more than enough space and books that a student need.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel all the basic facilities are there, ie - bed, table, chaire, common room, study room with ac, sport courte, washing machine, bathrooms, watercooler, ect. Meal iquality is decent with respect to mess fee, menu is a bit favarable for non vegeterian, but there is a veg mess.
Admission
The admission process was done by josaa based on the rank in jee main examination. To get this college you have to qualify the jee main exam, jee advanced examination not required. every indian state has a NIT, like that NIT roukela is in odisha, there is approx 50 percent reservation for homestate and rest for other state. (other reservations like OBC, SC/ST, PWD ect are also there)
