Course Curriculum Overview

I chose AI and ML because it is in my interest and has lot of scope Faculty student ratio is good it's I guess 1:70 All faculty are PhD holders and they teach well Term exams are mostly timely having 20 to 25 days of gap and its moderate to pass

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available mostly by Microsoft ,nutanix etc and mostly are for software intern for stipend I don't know the exact number but it is nearly about 20k-30k per month but if you work hard you can upto 1lakh month also

Placement Experience

From 7th semester onwards the placements season is on Companies visited were Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Adobe etc. Many offers were made don't know the exact number Highest is 50 -60 lpa and average is 9lpa More than 95% students get placed My plan is to go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost depends on what category you get like if you are in cat 5 then your fees is high but if you are in 1 or 2 cat then it's good There is financial assistance and scholarships but I didn't need it

Hostel Facilities

There is ac if choose ac rooms proper study desks and beds and cupboards Meal is superb and menu changes every month Hostel are inexpensive and the registration process happens after you have been alloted the course

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

Any 12th pass can apply for the VITEEE exam held every year The applications starts from November last year and last date is March current year you can find it in the vit website No reservation benefits No improvements needed

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
