I have chosen Mechanical engineering as I am interested in that and I think others should also choose their branch according to their will, not because institute is good. Talking about qualification of the faculty, I would say they are well educated from renowned institutes and they have knowledge of latest technologies also. Most of the professor have good teaching method except some. Term exams are always on time and to pass them, you need to study 2-3 hours daily, but to get good marks you need to work hard and also smart.

I don't have any internship offer till now, still working on that. But in 2nd year I have done internship under Invention factory by Maker bhawan foundation. It was 6weeks intensive program where I got opportunity to invent and had a good experience.

From 5th semester you would start getting opportunity for internship and from 6th semester you would start getting placement opportunities. Placement is excellent here. But yeah you have to work on that. Nothing is free, you have to be capable. There are also some training given for internship and placements.

Total fee would range from 12500 to 99000 depending upon the semester. For students with low income there is reduction in tution fee depending on the family income. For mechanical engineering BTech, campus placement is about 98% so I can say almost everyone get placed.

There are two major fests- Tech fest called Innovision and Cultural fest called Nitrutsav. Except these there is also multi-ethnic fest called Cosmopolitan. There are 15-20 clubs in total including 10-15 tech clubs i.e, robotics club, coding clubs, SAE club etc

There are total 13hostels 11for boys 2for girls(KMS and CVR). From my perspective, boys hostel are better than girls hostel in everyway. There are 2, 3and 4seater rooms for girls in KMS hall of residence and 2seater rooms in CVR. But overall it is good.

You should get enough marks in JEE MAINS to clear the cutoff of the institute for specific branch. Then through JOSAA/CSAB counseling, you can get this institute. Reservation benefits are there for SC/ST/OBC/Gen-EWS/ Girls. There is also reduction in tution fee depending on your family income like, if your family income is less tha 1lac you need not pay tution fees, but yeah you have to pay other fees like hostel fee, mess fee etc. For this you need to submit income certificate and other document, you can go through website.
