Likes

the infrastructure of the college is amazing.
The last thing I love is the Sports Club which is an escape from reality.
The teachers are very helpful and are doing an amazing job.

Dislikes

The principal is a bad man and is very selfish.
Our college block is not good and that's a problem.
The canteen is worst the food available are really bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a Tamil professor in college and that's why I choose this field. You can complete plus two and apply for the course. The teachers are amazing they are so comforting and took great care of each student. The principal is not a good guy.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

for each year college fee is twelve thousand and there would be exam fee extra. There are some scholarship available here. There are no job opportunities available inside the campus and hence no stipend will be given.

Campus Life

The college have library available and almost all books are available here. The class rooms have no projector available only board and chalks. There is something projector in the auditorium. The are all types of club activities available here.

Admission

I took Tamil literature as my stream in this college. I went directly to the college to collect the details for my course. In the administration office you can get all the information of all the course and fee structure.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
