Course Curriculum Overview
This college was one of the options for me.It is very reputed and has very good faculty. The faculty has a very good opinion among the students and are very much qualified.They always give thier very best while teaching and the labs are conducted very well and on time. If you study for the exams properly it won't be very hard to pass.
Internships Opportunities
BIT has a very good success in placing students from the past many years.Every year top companies visit and conduct placements for full time recruitment Companies like accenture and Bosch and mercedes-benz recruit the students.
Placement Experience
From almost 5-6th semester you would be eligible for placements.There are a lot of reputed companies which visit annually for hiring which include PhonePe,mercedes benz,bosch,etc.This year the highest package offered was 45 lakhs per annum for a student from information science branch.Almost the majority of the students get placed here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year,the fees are hiked by almost 10 percent.For me,as i have gotten the seat through merit,the total cost for me would be 5.5 lakhs for 4 years. Various scholarships are offered to every student in the campus and you just need to fill in forms to avail them.
Campus Life
The annual fest is the techno cultural fest called MANTHAN which is almost held at the end of year. The library is one of the main things to look out for in this college.It has got a big library and avery good system.They are very well managed and there are plenty of books available. The classroms are big enough and there is a continous run of power supply. This college provides good opportunities for sports as there are a lot of sports which you can take part in and represent the college.The college also has plenty clubs for social activites and are well managed by the students.
Admission
I took up the K-CET entrance examination which is the exam you would need to take up if you want to get admitted into engineering colleges in karnataka with the least amount of fees being paid. All the details and the information of the exam is given in the official website which is the KEA official website. The main issue in the system is the lack of clarity given by the people handling it.Every year lakhs of students wait for 3-4 months after writing the exam to get into a college.Overall the admission process takes up a lot of time.
