The course and curriculum are overall nice.Vtu introduces new subjects and courses as per the current trends and the requirements.the faculties are good as well but you have to put your own efforts because they will not just give away marks and everything easily so yeah.they are mostly helping and coperative I would say.There is proctor per 30 or 60 students who basically checks on our academics and all activities.The faculties are well known and reputed mostly.There are two internals per semester and there are assignments,quizzes and projects in between.The exams are overall are moderate in levels not too tough you can easily pass if you study one or two days ago.

The fees varies depending in the entrance exam we have basically written.So for us comedk qualifying students had to pay about 264320 to the comedk itself and then in the college we had to pay for miscellaneous stuff such as college management fees and lab fees something like that so overall we paid around 3lakhs this year for college only and the same course is only for 1lakh for karanataka students coming in through kcet.The hostel fees for girls is around 135000 per year.As far I know they have no provision of financial assistance for outside students.It is overpriced for comedk students as there is a lot to be done in the facilities and college campus.There is very small area of the campus assigned for our college only so there is not much to explore.

The annual fest held in our college is only Manthan.I have yet not been familiar with it but as far as I have heard about it from seniors it's good and a popular attraction in this part of the city.Tech fests are held regularly I would say cause there is a good conding environment in this college and there are lot of tech based clubs that keep organising these technical meets and stuffs like that.There is a good amount of books required for our courses and digital Library as well to get access of online contents and resources.Classrooms are big and we'll equipped as well but only some classes not every class have projectors and systems,so that part is lacking.There is good sports facilities there and sports club is active there as well.There is badminton, kabaddi, basket ball, table tennis and much more in the sports amenities and there are intercollege competition organised during manthan so sports and extra curricular activities are good.There are social activitiy clubs as well.

So I registered for the bit womens hostel but i didn't get the rooms.So I am staying in a pg near the college in Sai Balaji pg for ladies.Most north people didn't get hostel rooms this year so everyone is staying in the pgs near the college only.in mine one mostly people are from the college and there are seniors in this pg as well.The facilities are good and the food is nice too.Its also affordable and everything is there near the pg so locality is also nice I would say.

So basically we gave comedk exams which is for the applicants residing in other states apart from karantaka and had to participate in the counseling of comedk to get a seat in the desired branch and college according to the cutoff of this year and that's how we get admission and there is this same process for karanataka students through kcet and there is another way to get admission that is through management quota from which you can directly take admissions in the branch of your choice if there is seat available for that course.Eligibility for you to take admissions is 12th passed and just any entrance exam either kcet or comedk.you can't get the application form directly by searching comedk and just go to their site and register through there only.Every update will be uploaded there only and the counseling process will take place through the same site as well.
