Eligibility criteria for PGDM at IMI Kolkata is as same as other B-school of India: 1. A bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years after 10+2 examination, from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 2. Candidate in the final year of graduation are also eligible, provided they have a certificate from the head of the college. 3. A valid cut-off score of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT. There will be no GD(Group Dicussion), no WAT(Writting Ability Test).

The curriculum of the college is well planned and structured very nicely in that it covers all the business related topics and all the concepts are covered in detail. The curriculum is revised every year to stay relevant, and contains many live case studies. The college provides enough industry exposure as the college is located in the heart of Kolkata. It is well connected with public transport. Faculty to student ratio is aprrox 1:12. College also provide mentors to each student, each faculty (mentor) is assigned to 6 students (mentee) of first year. Student can share any kind of issues they are facing either in academics or in hostel. Faculties of the college are absolutely brilliant, all from good colleges (mostly from IIMs). Almost all of them are having PhD with years of work experience in both teaching and corporate world to help the students to know about the latest industry trends. Exams are conducted thrice in a year (6 in two years) because college follow trimester system.

100% students of IMI Kolkata gets placed for Summer internship. Many big companies like PWC ICICI prudential ICICI Bank ICICI Lombard HPCL and others come for SIP. After joining college and completing your first prime minister the college starts it's process for Summer internship for their first students.

The college ofers 100% final placement and 100% of students get internships through college. Popular names come to campus for recruitment like PWC deloit, KPMG, EY, Gartner, Grand thornton, ICICI prudential, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Reliance industries limited, Wipro Mars wrinkle federal bank and others

At my tenure, fee structure of IMI Kolkata was 14.5 lakh including all the basic hostel acommodation and food. Approx 12 lakh for academics and 2.5 lakh for hostel and food. All student whose total family income is less than 8 lakh per annum shall be elligible for schorarship. This scholarship is know as Total Fee Waiver (TFW), it will waive off 100% tuition fee (Only tuition Fee). This is given to students who belong to Economically weaker section.

Life at I am I Kolkata campus is great. It's annual fest is know as CONFERO, it is being conducted in month of January. Infrastructure of classroom are very good. All classes are being done with PPTs.Libraries fully with books and software (bloomber) for research purposes. Entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, there is a cafeteria, pool room, basketball court, volleyball court, and gym available on the campus. A doctor visits the campus everyday for 3 hours. The college is very well maintained the campuse is clean and green. College is in the heart of Kolkata so will connected with public transport.

Hostel facilities are provided to all students. There are single sharing and twin sharing rooms, and rooms are spacious. Hostel rooms are equipped with AC and are being cleaned everyday by staff, washing machines are available to wash clothes and laundry services are also available. Microwave and refrigerator are also provided full stop to canteens are there one for vegetarians and one for non vegetarians with decent quality of food sports facility are also decent. Forest station process of hostel you will get hostels during admission time you have to choose which type of hostel do you want and prices of hostels is very affordable.

During my admission process there was no GD but there was writing ability test (WAT) after that there was personal interview and extempore but from 2024 an onwards they will be no writing ability test also. After the CAT result you will be shotlisted for GD process and and after the GDP process if you will get selected you will get a mail of admission offer letter.
