Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a computer science engineer. So i choose this course. Faculty is quite good . Teaching can be done in very good way. There are AC labs are available with lot of computers and the every class room has projects for smart classes.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunity is available. Ardent is one of the company which can visit our college every year. There will be a campus ambassadors for every year students. He /she will guide us regarding the internship.

Placement Experience

From 6 the sem the students get the opportunity for campus placements. tcs, Infosys, Wipro, tech Mahindra etc. companies visited. 85% students get placements. I want to get a good placement after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

We can get scholarships form SVMCM. Also for the lower cast students they can apply for other scholarships. Teachers can help regarding this scholarships. College authority can take every details of the students for this process.

Campus Life

The annual fest is organised by the 3rd year students in every academic year. Cultural fest in named as SPANAN. Tech fest is named as RESONANCE. aslo the sports, cricket, football, etc are organised in every academic year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good. 1st and 2nd year students have to stay in 2 or4 seater rooms. 3rd and 4th year students get single rooms for their better concentration in studys. Every rooms has internet connections.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the Course: you have to crack wbjee and jee main aslo. You can find application details in the college websites aslo. If you have to reserve then you have to apply before because once the seats are full then the admission process will closed.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
