I choose electrical engineering course because I am very much interested in electrical devices and machines.Iam always curious to know about the electrical machines. All the faculty members are PHD graduates and they must have a teaching experience of minimum of two years to be recruited in my college NIT Rourkela. They all are well trained and have good skill to teach concepts that can easily understand by the students not only theoretically but also explain practically In a year we have 2 mid semester exams and two final semester examinations.The paper standard are very good in way that a student who have clear basics and Clear idea on the concept can able to answer the questions

We have companies like Microsoft Google tata steela Qualcomm will offer internship offers for the students they include field work or software related also. students can have internship offers from fifth semester. Three intership can help in campus placement and the students get work experience

Over the years our college good rate of placements for the students from seventh semester students will become eligible for the campus placement. Companies kk Ike Google Qualcomm, Verizon John Deere and Disney Plus hotstar will give job offer for the students some of the government campiness also visit our campus like ONGC BPCL etc we had and an highest package of 50 lakh and average of 13 lakh. We have 98 percentage of students getting placements .My plan after getting degree is to prepare for civil services exam and crack the exam

The fee for per year is 124000 including all fees like tution fee, hostel fee,mess fee, medical fee etc. Students have chance applying for few scholarships like NSP and other We have good persentage of campus placement over the years till date we have an average package of 13 lakhs rupees per year

Our campus is not only know for acadaimcs but also other extra cocaricular activities. We have sports fests like vridhhi. The tow main annual fest are Innovision and comso they are the biggest annul fest of our college. We have lots of other students clubs also. A club called Monday Morning covers all the news about the college

We have neat and well maintained hostels in our campus a couple of students We will be accommodated one room we have study rooms playing area and the meal is good enough for the students but some times some difficulties faced by the students

To get admission in our college NIT Rourkela we have to give entrance test called JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION.We can apply for this entrance test through National testing agency offical website and everyone should pay the application fee the application fee is different for different category students. We have different cutoff percentile for different categories.A general category student should get above 90 percentile,a OBC student above 70 and SC,ST, PWD students should get above 40 percentile to qualify in the exam. The seat allocation is done based on their category seat alloted for them. After seat allocation student should go their respective colleges for their admission once their document verification is done they will be considered as the student of that college
