Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this courses because of my interest. I want to explore the engineering life. There is to much scope in the future.the student ration is 2 is to 1.All faculty member are PhD holders .their teaching method is nice.The exam is conducted after every six months and we have to give monthly test. It is not to difficult to pass the exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee is 4-5lakhs.College also provide scholarship for candidates.Campus placement is so nice .Many mnc companies visit in our campus.the placement is so nice.if we work hard we get placement very easily.

Campus Life

The campus at Asansol Engineering College is vibrant and conducive to learning. The well-maintained grounds provide a pleasant atmosphere for recreational activities, and the greenery enhances the overall aesthetic appeal. The availability of open spaces for sports and cultural events is commendable, contributing to a holistic campus experience.

Admission

The admission process is not so difficult.it is quite easy .I filled the wbjee form.The application fees is 500.and I applied the form in the December month.Reservation benefit is only for West Bengal domicile candidate.No improvement I want to see in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
