- Open campus- yeah the campus is open so anybody can enter here.
- Hostel rooms are somehow small for freshers
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in electrical engineering and was getting Btech+ Mtech both. Faculty is highly qualified and their teaching method are up to tha mark. There are one or two teachers for one course and there are 6-7 courses for each semester
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come here for internship offers and some give pre placement offers (PPO)to students. This year 353 companies came for internship and gave many offers to students. Companies are Microsoft, Google, Flipkart , Zomato , etc .
Placement Experience
Placements of college are very amazing. For Btech students company comes for placements in the 4th year and for IDD students , company comes for placements in the 5th year. This year almost 400 companies came and gave approx 980 offers to students. Highest offer was 1.68 cr this year which Indicates the quality of placements here in IIT BHU
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is divided into two parts. One part is semester fee which includes tution fee , hostel fee, Gymkhana fee, etc. Other is the mess fee. Mess fee is 15000 for one semester and semester fee is 106350. There are many scholarships in IIT BHU. I got IIT BHU foundation scholarship which provides me the semester fee for one semester
Campus Life
College life is good. Annual fest of IIT BHU is called Kashiyatra and is conducted in the month of January. Tech fest is called Technex and is conducted in the month of March. Library is very modern and there are large number of books here. Sports activities are also good. There are specific practice grounds for each sport and any individual can go there. There is a Student Activity Centre (SAC) which has modern facilities for students
Hostel Facilities
There is a bed for one student. There are 2 study table, 2 chairs and 2 almirah for 3 students. Basically 3 students live in one room. Room is small but you get used to it after a few days. Meal is nice and is affordable. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hostel registration is done in the counseling process itself.
Admission
You have to qualify JEE advanced for availing admission at IIT BHU. There is JOSAA counseling after the exam where we get to select the college and courses. After getting seat in IIT BHU , you have to go to IIT BHU website and from there forms and fees links will be there.
