Course Curriculum Overview
Overall, faculty members and the course curriculum are undoubtedly at par with other VIT campuses and are better than most of the institutes of India. Teachers are helpful, and they all hold master's degree.
Placement Experience
VIT is one of the top best colleges of INDIA.If you are in VIT,then more than 95% there is a chance of getting placed.And if you are lucky enough to study CSE or IT from that college,then more than 95% chances are of getting a very good package
Fees and Financial Aid
If your dream college is Vellore Institute of Technology but you are worried about how to afford its high fees, then you must know that the institution offers VIT scholarships to meritorious students. The total VIT BTech fee is around INR 7,04,000 which is a good amount of money and not every middle-class Indian can afford this fee. This leads students to take educational loans and keep on paying.
Campus Life
Every attempt has been made by the management and other administrative boards to ensure that every student finds VIT a very lively campus. By bringing clubs and college festivals, students are not simply exposed to a competitive environment inside the university, but also to reputed universities.
Hostel Facilities
An 8-storey Boys Hostel Building with a built-up area of 44,752 sq.m equipped with Wi-Fi enabled AC and Non-AC sharing rooms with an indoor badminton court available in the central courtyard. Currently, a G+7 boys hostel block is under construction with an area of 9000 sq.m, which will house a recreation centre, mess facility, sports facility, gymnasium, swimming pool and food court. A wide variety of rooms are available for the students starting from 6 bedded rooms to single seaters. The students can choose AC and Non-AC rooms as per their preference. Rooms are equipped with ergonomically designed furniture which includes a cot, chair, study table, study lamp, bookshelf and a cupboard. Some of the facilities include first-aid centre, pharmacy, photocopy service, food kiosks.
Admission
Candidates are shortlisted based on VITBEE/ CAT scores. Further, shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview. Admission is offered based on a qualifying exam.
