Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is concise and not very broad that facilitates quality over quantity. I choose B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branch because I like computer science from the start. The faculties here are quite good with great knowledge in the subjects they teach. Their teaching is more of a traditional approach. You have to read on your own if you want to understand on a deeper level. The term exams are timely and it happens four times and the questions are standard.
Placement Experience
The perecntage of placement in our college is 83? and the average package of the college is 5lpa and the highest is 13lpa and the lowest is 3lpa.The top companies that visit for recruitment is TCS, Infosys etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college is around 1,20,000/yr.You can opt for a hostel if you are from somewhere far. If that's not the case then you can stay at your home and study(that's the best according to me). You can opt for any scholarship you want and college will help you out with that. There's a TFW scheme that is provided by this college where your college fees will be waived off. You have to show them your income certificate for that.
Campus Life
Campus life is great here. The 'jheel par' here is the best. The tech and the cultural fest here occurs at. They are conducted by the 3rd year students. Books and journals are available in the library. You can visit the library and read those there. Classroom is well equipped with digital board. The cricket, football, basketball tournament are also arranged here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities is not that much good to be honest. The food that is given here is not even average. You have to eat from outside as the food provided by the mess is not enough. The hostels are moderately maintained. The per month charges along with the mess fees is 42000/yr
Admission
At first I had to take the normal WBJEE Exam to get admission into the college. JEE exam is also taken into consideration when taking admission into this college. You have to take admission through the WBJEE Counseling procedure.
