Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love literature. I wanted to know more. This college is well known for English Literature because of well trained and friendly encouraging faculty. Paper evaluation for internal test were little upsetting because of strict correction. But the question paper provided would be good quality

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunity will be available from the second year. Mostly from different schools. They will be taken to schools and be given task to teach the students every evening 5 days a week. Stipend will be provided avarage 10k

Placement Experience

6th semister students will be eligible for the compus placement. International schools in Coimbatore, Infosys no.of offer made are many because of teaching jobs . Companies offered 20,000-40,000 40% students gets placed My plan after getting degree would be teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is considerably low compared to other college 13,000. SC, ST, BC , Minority scholarships are provided in timely manner. Frequent inspection from the collector is done and hence scholarship are provided it can be assured. Campus jobs are not available.

It's surrounded by nature its a great opportunity to study in this college. Programs are conducted frequently with great participation . They have a big library with variety of collection of books. Sports students have extra benifits because of the coach available.

Hostel Facilities

Room is provided with lights, cots and common charging point. Room is spacious. Meal provided will be little bad. But some dishes provided will be good like the noodles, semiya, dhosa . Registration process is simple it can be done in the office. It's affordable. Rooms are available within the distance.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

No entrance exam was required. Eligibility: 12th HSCL passed. Application form will be provided in the college office . Admission process can be improved by making in online process so that students from another states and district would enjoy the benifit.

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
