Course Curriculum Overview

Ece has a great upcoming future in the future so I choose ece Faculties are pretty good enough and students are in the ratio of 60 Faculties are highly educated and their teaching methods are good enough Internals were 4 every month and if you study it was easy to pass

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies have offered internships with 5000 stipends and IBM oracle TCS have appeared. Vlsi projects and other industrial trainings are available in kolaghat thermal power and ece can have industrial training in jadavpur and other colleges.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester placements are available. TCS Wipro oracle visited and offers are made quite a many numbers. Highest package is 1800000 and average is 800000. 80% students get placed in ECE Higher education

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike and after first year it starts to decrease. Cost to study is 400000 for 4 years Financial assistance is there and I get no scholarship job is available both in campus and off campus

Campus Life

Cultural fest and tech fest are celebrated for 5 days and they are conducted in April or March. Lots of books are available jounals book organizers. Cricket football volleyball basketball and badminton are played as well as indoor games. Many social groups are there like dancing singing drama and anchoring clubs.

Hostel Facilities

There are beds fan tables chairs and lights are present. Meal quality is good and better from other other hostels. Menu is changed after 1month. No registration process is there. You can rent a room in township.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

There is no such eligibility for Ece department. There is a rank of 40000 rank for ece Application form , fees and dates,is provided after wbjee counseling and also after face to face meet in college. No reservations benefit is availed No everything is perfect for admission process

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
