Overall experience was not very nice, but okay. It's my 3rd year and I've only one true friend till now.

Course Curriculum Overview

If I talk about myself, I'm satisfied with the faculty and curriculum of SBSEC. The professors are friendly and engaging, except a few. As far as exams are concerned, there are 2-sem exams each year. The difficulty level is medium to high, but if a student is thorough with the subjects, he/she can crack it easily.

Internships Opportunities

Internships and Placements are a good feature of the college. The stipend for internships ranges from 10k-20k. I hadn't a very good experience with placements though. There are various projects introduced every year in the college. I was part of a Research Project based on AI. It was a hands-on experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is relevant in accordance with course structure. Sometimes the fee hike goes above the roof, but it can be sorted by giving an application to the Principal. Students who come from economically weaker sections get concessions in fees and other facilities.

Campus Life

There are various groups and clubs running for students' welfare. For example, ABVP(Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Sangathan) is one such group which aadresses the issues of students. I wasn't a part of ABVP, but whenever I had an issue regarding fees or something, I went to the group directly. Fests are not very special at SBSEC. I got to witness 2 or 3 fests in my 1st year only. Library is well-equipped and air-conditioned. You can find lots of books and journals according to your taste. Classrooms are not very good; infrastructure is quite old and rusty.

Admission

I was from the Covid batch(boardless????). So colleges were alloted to us on the basis of our class 12th scores. There was no entrance exam. But now, DU colleges are admitting students on the basis of CUET, so students need to be prepared.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
