- Faculties are very much supportive and they are always ready to help students
- Clubs and cells are outstanding, especially mun, scs , Ecell etc.
- There is students activity centre where you can go and peruse you passion of indore games including gym, squash, chess ,yoga ,table tennis etc
Dislikes
- I dislike open campus since other iits have open closed campus.
- Due to limited amount of hostels we (1st year) usually live in triplesharing
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good . I got this course as per my jee advance rank . Faculties are very supportive and always ready to help the students to tackle their academics . Faculties are well qualified and have international degrees .
Internships Opportunities
For intern highest monthly salary offered last year was INR 4.50 lakhs. On average , students received a decent monthly income stipend INR 1.15 lakhs during their internships at IITBHU. Internships are in both core and noncore field especially in tech.
Placement Experience
IIT BHU stands as among one of the best college in terms of placements . Google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc visits each year and pic students in a very good package . Average package is 24 LPA while highest package goes in crores . Nearly 90% students get placed by companies visiting in campus. Not only CSE, Ece ,eee mining also has good placements in core and non core both.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure - tution fee nearly 1,14,000 per semester (including gymkhana) while 15000 is hostel fees . Campus provide very good internships and placements opportunities. Since I am 1st year student I have got no intern till now. Last year there was around 90% placements in campus.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing. There are nearly 60 clubs which works day and night to improve themselves and to create one of the best environment in campus. The biggest fest of IITBHU is kashiyatra which is held in month of January each year. Other than kashiyatra there is spardha (sports fest) , technex ( techfest), fmc weekend, Aagman ( intrafreshers competition) , etc which are held in the gap of 5 to 6 weeks.
Admission
I cleared JEE advance 2023 to get into one of the most prestigious college of India in btech program. Each year jee advance is conducted , students who clear jee mains get the chance to appear for jee advance . Out of 1000000 students appear for jee mains out of which nearly 1, 50,000 get chance to sit in jee advance and 15000 students clear jee advance and get one of the 23 IITs . After clearing jee advance councelling is conducted by jossa . Each student get the college according to their preferences and rank they have secured in jee .
